The depot at Sudbury, MA

It'll be a long wait for a train here. The depot lies at the junction of the former B&M Central Mass and New Haven RR crossing. The Central Mass line is a rail trail east and west of here, while the former New Haven Line towards Lowell is now the Bruce Freeman Rail-Trail. To the south, the ROW is in the process of being converted to a rail-trail, which will eventually extend down to Framingham. It'll be a few years before this section opens, however.

At the time of my visit (Easter Sunday 2025), the Central Mass east/west line was being prepped for resurfacing/paving.
