Photo of Rutland mystery location
Rutland mystery location

Here’s another old photo I picked up: Rutland 0-6-0 switcher No. 105 at an unknown location and date, photographed by an unknown photographer. Could it perhaps be heading south/east into Bellows Falls yard? In which case the truss bridge behind the locomotive would be the B&M Connecticut River bridge? Date might be late 1940s based on the auto in the foreground. I’m guessing summertime by the engineer’s position on the cab window sill. More info & guesses are welcome!

Photographed by unknown.
