Unusual Sight

ES44DC #976 suffered wheel damage, resulting in being set out by the nights previous M436. The following morning, West Springfield local LO12 had to rescue 976 as it was stranded on the wrong side of the main line. Very gingerly the crew moved 976 from the most southern track to the most northern track on the CSX Palmer yard. R.J Corman ended up bringing out cranes, removing the defective axle and placing an idler for the ride back to Selkirk.
