New England Southern's GMTX 1505 in Concord

On Monday, July 20th, the New England Southern Crew brought south 20 empty hoppers that have been mostly stored on the Northfield Siding since November 2021. The hoppers were to be used for a potential client that has not come to fruition.. yet.

Usually the NEGS Crew takes one loaded tank car, once in a great while two tank cars north to their client, 3M in Tilton and back.

These hoppers got stored on the track on the left, the 2500 foot active remnant of CSX's Northern, which has not seen any activity since August of 2023. The CSX Nashua Local Crew will grab these at some point to return them to Vermont Rail System's home rails.

The train was stopped just north of the White Mountain Junction switch in Concord while the Conductor went to line the switch in their favor.
