Here was a recent Conway Scenic Mountaineer, with single engine CSRX 216e, as they made the return run back to North Conway by the Arethusa Falls Crossing in Livermore, just east of mile post P-79. The famous Frankenstein Trestle is not too far to the west.

CSRX 216 is a 1965 built, 2500hp, high short hooded Norfolk & Western GP35. Riders today were treated to the bluest of blue skies & comfortable temperatures. Maine Central did not roster any GP35's high or low hood, but if they did. it would have looked pretty good.
