Here was the south end, looking north, of the 3pm "Fall for St. Johnsbury" sold out excursion train. Three "Green Fleet" vintage coaches were sandwiched between the legendary GMRC 405s on the north end, and VTR 208s leading south,

VTR 208 is a GP38-2, was around the VRS system as LLPX 2334 in UP paint, for many years. It was built new for Penn Central as #8028. VTR 208 is named for Harold Filskov, the 3rd(?) Vermont Rail System Engine to be so named CLP 752 was the first on a GP9 that lives on in New Jersey, and still named Harold. GP38, CLP 203, was the second, and that can be found on the Conway Scenic with the Maine Central road number it originally had #255.

It was quite a day around St. J in the NEK for their "Fall for St Johnsbury" weekend long festival. St. Johnsbury could be considered the "Capital of Fall" in New England.
