RS-1 Approaches Spring Street Bridge, Brunswick 1978

RS-1 (Rigby-Augusta) approaches the Spring Street Bridge in Brunswick with GP-7 #576, followed by RS-11 #801 (new paint). The switch to the left leads to the old passenger yard which, in 1978, had just a team track and freight shed, and also served Brooks Farm and Feed and a beverage distributer. The switch to the right is for the Lewiston Lower line and is still there today.

Photographed by R. Michael White, 1978.
Added to the photo archive by Michael White, November 22, 2002.
Railroad: Maine Central.
