Photo of Abandoned Spur in Brockton, MA
Abandoned Spur in Brockton, MA

These abandoned tracks run alongside the stone block retaining wall for the embankment that carries today's Boston to Middleboro MBTA trains and which once was the Old Colony Railroad to Cape Cod. A vacant lot and Montello Street, Brockton, MA are to the right. I don't speak the language, but I guess this thing on the fence is a friendly little gang related message. It just adds to the ambience of the area. Probably somekind of Valentine.
