1921 in Campton NH

RARE MOVE! 1921, the "Pride of Charlestown" ex BN and MBTA GP9 made a recent rare move from Meredith to Lincoln. These days, this fully operational, privately owned GP9 is used as a back-up power option for either the Hobo RR or the Winnipesaukee Scenic RR. After sitting in Meredith for about a year with very little to no use, it was taken north to Lincoln.

Here the B&M "Minuteman Paint" looked perfect in the sunlight as they headed north past the NH Route 49 crossing by Owl Street in Campton. Having this engine facing south was also a huge bonus in relation to the sun.

What a genuine and lucky treat it was to see this move!
