The round trip excursion, out of New London, has reached town via B&M's trackage on the east side of the Connecticut River. When the train ahead clears, it will advance to the station. Later, the southbound Ambassador will use the New Hampshire route and CNR 6218 will depart southward on CV rails. .

Ken, how did you make these pictures so sharp, with vibrant color that leaps off the screen?? This picture looks newer than the two just posted on this site before your picture was posted? And they were taken today- in bright sunshine. Astounding!!!!
