a Sunday at BETWhen the Boston & Maine converted almost all of its passenger trains to RDC equipment in the 1950s, it still carried mail on a few intercity runs, so seven of its 109 Budds were of the RDC-3 RPO/baggage/coach variety. Now carrying neither mail nor baggage, just commuters, B&M 6302 and others were lined up beneath the sand tower at Boston Engine Terminal on a Sunday afternoon.
