Still fairly early in the morning of a Saturday in December of 2001, a cruise along Guilford's D4 ended by meeting eastbound SEED in Petersburg, New York. Just around the curve to the left was the site of old Petersburg Junction, a one-time meeting place for B&M and Rutland lines that crossed at grade.
