Brayton Point Power Station from ex-railroad yardLocated across the Sakonnet River in Somerset, MA, the power station runs on coal totally shipped in by ship. You can see the stern of a large collier facing the camera. The railroad line between Providence and Fall River was to the right of the cove, but was abandoned around 1930, way before the power station was built. The Brayton Point Power Station is famous for producing fish that rival Mr. Burns' Blinky. [Allegedly]
