So much to see in the capture of this railroading scene - the crossing guard, the caboose and the classic Alco switcher both unmistakably Maine Central, the man on the ground who has just made the hitch, even the kerosene switch lantern and the trackside"Famous Reading Anthracite" retail heating coal dealer. All gone but memorialized here in this simple, once everyday scene.
