Chuggin' Across The Deerfield River

Pan Am Southern train 14R is seen crossing the mighty waters of the Deerfield River at Bardwells Ferry at Shelburne, Mass. on Sunday, May 14, 2017. Today's train is led by the NS 7337, a rare former Indiana RR SD90MAC still painted in the original red paint and lettering.

Very nice! NS should just add this attractively painted SD90MAC to their heritage fleet even though the Indiana RR has nothing to do with NS, being former IC and Milwaukee Road trackage.

Dear John Bazan: you take the absolute most beautiful MODERN pictures of anyone who posts on this site. Ron DiFillipo and Ken Patton have submitted the most beautiful older pictures. Your picture of the NS heritage engine lettered for Illinois Terminal remains my favorite all time photo on this site. The engine was pulling an oil train through Feura Bush, New York. I have since lost that picture but would love it if you could email it to me. If you respond to this posting I can send you my email address. Thank you very much, and I look forward to seeing your future submissions
