PanAm Southern AD-1 (NBPO slurry train) -- Friday December 11, 2015The dedicated slurry train out of North Bennington Vt. heads (compass) westbound on the Hoosick Branch into New York State a scant three miles from its origin. Today's train proved to be not as "nocturnal" as most recent departures -- even though the sun set minutes ago the remaining light provides a small bit of illumination for recently arrived 3402 and companions 601 and 615. It continues to be amazing that this late into the season there has been no snow at all which would certainly provide even a small bit of embellishment to the ambient light level for late-day pictures.
