the Concord trainWith the aid of a Federal grant, the MBTA briefly restored passenger service between Boston and Concord, NH, in January 1980. Unfortunately, the New Hampshire service only lasted a year, until the money ran out in February 1981. On a long June evening, the northbound train rattled downtown Hooksett, NH, behind the usual F40 power.
