Meriden's 1942-1970 stationA former New Haven GP9 brings a Springfield-New Haven train to a stop at Meriden, CT, in August 1970. Shortly after this photo was taken, the neat little 1942 station was demolished as part of a city redevelopment project and replaced by the modest blockhouse that then served until the current CT Rail station was constructed.
