Semaphores north of Plymouth, NH.

Semaphores from the past guard this former junction north of Plymouth. The Pemi Branch to Lincoln (behind photographer) was on the left, with the first "junction" at Bridge St/Holderness Crossing. Later, the junction switch was moved to the location just under the photographer.

Here was the start of the ABS territory. According to the 1952 employees timetable, north of Plymouth to Woodsville was 45mph passenger/35mph freight. South to Concord was 55mph passenger/45 freight. The branch to Lincoln was 25 mph passenger+freight.
