NECR 3848 approaching the diamond in Palmer, Mass.

New England Central's 3848 approaches the CSX/NECR diamond in Palmer, Mass. However, they must wait for a CSX eastbound freight to cross first. This scene is different than one 5 years ago where it was the Central Vermont Railroad and Conrail who used the diamond.

Photographed by Ken Hawkins, October, 1999.
Added to the photo archive by Ken Hawkins, November 9, 1999.
Railroad: New England Central.
