Guilford GP-40 #337 (B&M) idles at the quarry in S. Lyndeborough NH

This is the ballast train that currently goes to Dover NH. The quarry is now the northern terminus of rail activity on this old Wilton line to Bennington. The Geep idles on a rainy Sunday afternoon with 18 loaded MEC hoppers full of ballast. The first Geep is lettered MEC. Location: Quarry in S. Lyndeborough NH, June 2001.
