B&M SW1 1117 in Keene, NH in 1980 posing by the freight house. Yard switching operations at that time were performed by the Green Mountain Railroad Corp who used the freight house as their Keene office. Rail service ended in Keene on November 15, 1982. The tracks were removed and the freight house razed sometime in the 90's. A sad demise of what was once a hugh railroad city with locomotive shops, two turntables and four branch lines.
