What a Sorry Site

Looking East across the Kennebec River Railroad Bridge in downtown Augusta, Me. This bridge hasn't seen a train since before the big flood of 1987. Behind me there is a gaurdrail that stops stupid people from trying to drive/park on the bridge, the rest is a parking lot. Funny though a few more thousand feet behind me is new Ballast for the new tracks to be placed so freight and passenger trains can run this route again, freight first. Well I guess they're going to have too dig up the parking lot and make way for some trains, they did this once before a couple of years ago who's stupid now?
