Turkey Falls bridge at Bow Junction

The Turkey Falls bridge once carried the Blueberry Express and the Concord & Manchester Electric trolley branch across the Merrimack River at Bow Junction. After service on the SunVal ended in December, 1952, the bridge's steelwork was considered too valuable to remain idle. Consequently, the bridge was dismantled shortly after the RR's demise, leaving only stone abutments to remind the curious passerby of a once busy connection.
