At EDY, 6030 was the front unit in the consist. Maybe the soiled state of the engine embarrassed the engineer so much he did not want a photo op, instead he busied himself talking to the conductor. This is when the unit was idling, my guess is waiting for the cars he was dropping off to be uncoupled.
