BIG Derailment at Palmer!

This was taken in 1960. A massive derailment at Palmer, MA!!!! Cars turned over, wheels everywhere! Dents and paint chips. Someone got in trouble for this. I am unsure of the cause of the derailment.

Life goes on, the clean up begins. If the train falls off the track, put it back on track and fix the track!

Photographed by David Worth, 1960.
Added to the photo archive by Xian Clere, January 19, 2004.
Railroad: New York Central.
