Maine Central in Vermont The MEC was not chaseable for too far out of St Johnsbury as I found out while chasing MEC 262 heading southeast near the New Hampshire state line. A 'dive out and hit the shutter' shot was all I could get on one of the last freights on the line to Portland Maine. Photographed by Brian Nicholson, May, 1983.
