Boston & Maine switcher B&M's switchers looked great with the big number boards sitting atop the hood. SW1 1124 at Manchester in '76. Although the B&M rostered many phases of the NW2, the SW1's were a late phase and outlasted most of the others. Photographed by Brian Nicholson, August, 1976.
