Green Mountain RR RS1 405 I can still here the sound of that Alco idle echoing off the hills surrounding North Walpole, N.H. The only sound to be heard other than birds on this misty Vermont morning was the chant of the Alco 539 6 cylinder. Photographed by Brian Nicholson, May 21, 1979.
