CV GP9 4551

From the first roll of color slide film I ever shot, CV 4551 in original Green & gold at St Albans. 4550 and 4551 would be repainted in green again in 1975, a tribute to the pride in the railroad and the reliability of the diesel that could do it all.

Photographed by Brian Nicholson, July, 1974.
Added to the photo archive by Brian Nicholson, February 18, 2004.
Railroad: Central Vermont.
