Maybe a "Silk Purse".......

The 529 is the "real thing" and the 4096's pedigree has been cited earlier in this group of photos. The "ersatz" New Haven caboose C-507 is actually ex Pennsy, but the carbody is close enough to the NH's NE-3 class. Note we labeled it as an NE-3a. If we could just find a set of those short wheelbase, drop-equalised trucks that the New Haven's NE-3's had, the illusion would be complete.
