Built in 1948, this locomotive is one of 238 of these B-B 140/140, 600HP Cooper-Bessemer powered 70-ton yard switchers produced by General Electric between 1946 and 1958 at its shops in Schenectady, NY. It was acquired by the B&ML from the Berlin Mills Railway in New Hampshire.
