This photo was taken near the Lisbon/Lewiston, Maine line. As you can see this track has not seen any visitors. Earlier a track inspection crew took a trip on this line but not up this far. I was told by a Maine Eastern employee that business are looking for frieght service on this line. However this line is torn up and cut in sections in many places. As of recently in Lisbon I have seen new No Trespassing signs put in place by Springfield Terminal. So here we go was that Gilford for themselves, Amtrak wants to comes here too and so does Maine Eastern.
