The mother ships have landed.

Two strange looking pieces of MOW equipment sitting at the end of the Millis Industrial Line. They bore CSX markings, so they're probably there to do something on the Framingham-Walpole line. Any information on either would be appreciated. UPDATE: Thanks to Nick Reynolds, I can add the following: "The one on the left is a Tamper. It has little prongs that force ballast (crushed rocks) under the ties if there is a sinking spot. the one on the right is a Ballast Regulator. It moves ballast to the middle of the rails for the tamper to tamp." A big 'Thank You' to Nick.
