BML#14, an 1897 ex-B&M RPO now the CPC's carpenter shopSitting off trucks next to the tracks in the CPC train yard is BML#14, an open vestibule former baggage/RPO car built in 1897 for the Boston & Maine (ex-B&M#2328) and purchased by the B&ML in August, 1927, for $600. It was converted to a tool car in January, 1943, and retired in December, 1949, to become the carpenter's shop in the Belfast yard, the same function it serves today in City Point. Much of the restoration work for the museum is done here by the CPC restorer and master carpenter Roger Pierce.
