Bartlett Roundhouse

This is a photo of the old Bartlett Roundhouse. Steam locomotive #505 took off from here one afternoon to help a freight train up Crawford Notch. In between Frankinstien Trestle and Willy Brook Trestle the boiler ran dry and exploded. Both the fireman and engineer were killed imediatley.
