What years is this?

What year do you think this could be? Was it 1905 or 2005? With the way we do things at the museum it seems like the 1901-1930. This is because we do things the old fashioned way. And yes we lay track by hand and every thing. All but the loading up of the flat car is done by hand. We load the flat car up with ballast with an old bucket loader and send the car down the track. When it gets to a spot that needs to be ballasted and shovel it off the flat car. As a matter of fact a picture in a book that I saw looks just the way we do things now. It was of a steam engine, two flat cars loaded with ballast, a caboose, and some track crew shoveling off the ballast. That is the way we do it today. You should stop by sometime and check out our little restoration. All it took me was just a little commutity service project for health class that had to be done and ever since then I have been a volunteer. That was in April of 2005 for track laying weekend.
