Valley conductor Bob protects the shove into Deep River station

Valley Railroad conductor Bob, always cheerful and smiling, protects the shove into Deep River station. Later the locomotive will run-around the train, while passengers get on and off the train for a boat excursion on the Connecticut river. After that the train will travel south for the trip to Essex.

Photographed by Tom Nanos, July, 2005.
