October 1992 exhibition of locomotives (including MNCR 750) and cars was a Railroad Museum of New England event called "Danbury Railroad Days". RMNE arranged two days of trips on MN (to Waterbury and Dover Plains) using RMNE's NH 2525, and also arranged for MNCR 750 to be the power that handled the RMNE equipment to and from New Haven, and for it to be on display for the weekend.
