A Timeless New England Branchline

Even in the stark late-winter sun, still quite a beautiful scene. While the Moguls and Light Mountains are long gone from the rails, the bald eagles still float high above.

It is possible that one day, in the future, the line could be rebuilt into a high-traffic, freight-hauling, economic artery, but for now, it does what it does best, serve as a monument to a era in American history long since past. In this author’s opinion, the best thing this rail line could possibly do.
