Waterbury VT - Undergoing Restoration

In February 2006, restoration finally commenced on the Waterbury, VT railroad station. Here's the view looking west (railroad north) towards Essex Jct and Saint Albans. It appears an addition is being added to the building. This restoration has been needed for some time. The exterior is in sad shape.

The restoration project is expected to be completed Fall 2006, and will house a regional information center, a Green Mountain Coffee Roasters store, and of course, the Amtrak station. Visit www.revitalizingwaterbury.org for more information.
