An MP1500 waits to go west off track 4 in Groton. This train is waiting for the signal to head to New London Ct. But while the sun is setting, the train will not get a clear signal to well after dark. The train is headed for Shaws Cove, where, for a first time (in the US) the Plasser American Maintenance equipment the remote control track lift system will be used on a Main-line. And as such, once the sun goes down and the flood lights are lit you will witness more white helmets than orange at the work site, including Amtrak video camera operators.
