A set of trucks being maintained by shop personnel at the Wellington Car House Shops sits on the floor. Visible mid-truck is the third rail pick-up shoe, used to collect current on the Orange Line. All Boston rapid transit lines, with the exception of the East Boston and Revere Extensions, use third rail.
