MBTA EMD F40PH-2C 1060 is seen throttling up in Roslindale, heading southbound in the Northeast Corridor, as it passes under the Blakemore Street Bridge on Track # 3. The line, which dates back to the Boston and Providence Railroad era, is taking this commuter run to Providence. Originally, a four-track ROW, it was the last to be electrified on the Northeast Corridor. We are at the former site of the Mount Hope Railroad Station, the B&P's 1884 stone-arched beauty.
