Edaville Coach

For some unknown reason this older coach sits waiting for passengers that will not come. Having visited Edaville since 1948 this sight is saddening. The equipment that once was has been trucked to Portland Maine which in turn has restored some and loaned others out to similar Maine narrow gauge turist/historical endevors. The original loop has been shortened and property sold for housing development. Deisels pull visitors around the small loop and past a newly erected whistle sign moved from the old location. How sad it is to see the old rail head out into the overgrown woods, past the bogs toward new modern homes.
