New Havens Somerset Branch - Dighton, MA

New Havens Somerset Branch (adandoned). This line ran from Taunton, MA to Fall River, MA, on the west side of the Taunton River. This photo is looking south at the Center St crossing, just west of the Berkley bridge. Obviously, the was a auto bridge that crossed these tracks, but is long gone and filled in. The rails on the north and south side lead directly into the Center St berm; it's a rather unusual sight. I'll have to go back and take more photo's from that perspective.
