Two questions, one answer: Why is the young man running for the train? how does a railroad without a passenger car gives rides?

It's as good as a cab ride, it's Tender rides, Welcome aboard, the tender holds 12, sit on the fuel tank feet on the water tank.
The Housatonic wasn't operating down this way today. it's a shame, i like standard guage/ Narrow gauge comparisons.
