Backlight Blitz

Having intercepted a loaded Bow job coming onto Guilford's District 4, a Saturday afternoon in late July 2001 would be spent chasing the diamonds back toward East Deerfield, MA. At Snyder's in Schaghticoke, NY, the train's GE trio would make lots of noise but have only a little trouble dragging full hoppers uphill through the bright rays.

Photographed by Jeff Bray, July, 2001.
Added to the photo archive by Jeff Bray, May 14, 2007.
Railroad: Guilford (B&M).
