Rainy Rewards: part 1

A soaking wet morning of June 2, 2001 was pretty much spent sitting in the truck while hoping for some train action in Shelburne Falls, MA. During a lull in the drops, an unfamiliar sound came booming from the east as EDMO showed up on the siding with Guilford's last GP38, #252, leading a couple helpers and 130+ cars toward a meet with MOED. Hearing non-turbocharged power other than GP9s out here was quite refreshing!

Photographed by Jeff Bray, June 2, 2001.
Added to the photo archive by Jeff Bray, May 15, 2007.
Railroad: Guilford (B&M).
