Seashore - SOAC cars These are the "State of the Art Cars," or SOAC set, built in the mid-1970's to test new developments in rapid transit car design. These cars operated in Chicago, New York and Philadelphia before retirement to the Seashore Trolley Museum. Photographed by Frank Hicks, June 24, 2007.
